I really like these and the body style just before it. Here’s what my local craigslist has in stock:
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I wonder what the markup is on this vs doing a private import yourself. There’s probably some margin being had by the seller/flipper.

This line gives me more than a little pause:
In the process of getting the car titled but I have all the import papers to have it registered.

CP - what! 16K USD for that?
JDM Celicas are the most beat cars when they get here. They are always either riced out - mis- painted - Bomex’ d - pei ces missing - or all at once..
$4
k tops for T180, $8
K for T200... here in BC.

Japanese Classics has some completed ST205 GT-Four sales listed from $16-20k depending on condition. This is on the low end of that range, but I’m not sure I’d want to mess with buying an imported car that’s already on US soil but has not yet been registered.

CP, you can import a clean WRC edition from J apan for that.

That makes the price seem less awesome , as the dealer you mention is in the same general range with his overhead . One has the registration issue along with any condition issues (the “r” word always scares me) here.

I would think so. But less hassle for the buyer.

Maybe make an offer to meet in the middle given the needs. Go for it!
